sooo we went and came home safly from Oregon this past week thankfully, It was absolutly amazing. The scenery and sooo much to do was awesome .
First day ... We got there about midnight ,wed the first of(sept), so we deff went straight to sleep.
The plane ride, I was sooo very nervous about turned out to be fine . Cory did soooo well stayed awake the first one and loved looking out the window, he did however cry cause of the ear popping but it didnt last long, and he slept the sec flight .
day2.. thurs,2.
Tena (Chris's mom ) had to work this day so we decided (cause we didnt have a car) to walk down towards where they're stores were and stuff to check it out. It turned out great not having a car , we got alot of excersise walking all the way down where she lived.(on a mountain practically lol)
We got to see alot of scenery tho and got to spend alot of family time which was nice ,walking back up the mountain (haha) that was some work ,for me anyways ,but it felt good to get out and do sumthing. Our legs were killing us after .
Later that night tena came home and we went straight to Mt. hood which is a famous mountain over there for yr. round snowboarding in what not , it was BEAUTIFUL and we got to see snnnooow !! I was deff excited and had to make a snowball lol.
We watched the sunset from the mountain ,which was Amazing!! Nothing like a sunset here.
day.3 fri third of sept
FORKS, WASHINGTON /La push HERE WE COME !!!!!!!!!!
So we left farly early that morning ,seeing we had to be there at 1pm in forks for the twilight tour .
Iam not a crazy fanatic fan but, hey I had a chance to go see where the story came from and the scenery so we went. It was awesome !!! La push , which is the indain reserve was my fav. soooo beautiful and we got to go out on the beach and i got to put my feet in the pacific. YES it was FREZZING but awesome my toes got that tingling feeling as soon as it hit the water. I deff give the surfers that go out alot of credit haha.
Other then the beach we seen where stephanie meyer (author of twilight saga) picked out the houses of where each chacter lived and what not . The movie was not filmed there. But I thought it was better seeing I liked the book better anyways.
After the wonderful tour (the tour guide was the best so funny and into making all the pictures so funny) we went and got sumthing to eat in forks, the place was pacific pizza it was pretty good. We got a pizza of course lol , it had A butt load of toppings it was crazy .
Heading home seemed like it took forever 4 1/2 hrs away,but deff worth it .
day4 sat 4th
This day we decided we had enough of such a long car drive and stayed sorta close to home . We went driving along what they call a gorge i guess ,it was so pretty they have such clear water there, it was also the line in between washington and oregon.
so we decided after seeing online that there were some waterfalls to go and see them , but couldnt find them at first and ended up driving quite a long way down the gorge but the scenery was beautiful and it ended up being a great drive.
Finally after turning around we found the waterfalls ,ANd wow they were amazing so beautiful and clear .I of course had to touch the water just like the beach and it was frezzing too but again awesome i which we had natural things like this in fl, but i guess then it wouldnt be fl LOL .
After seeing 3 beautiful water falls and taking a lil hike wto see one of them , we went and got sumthing to eat. Then went to there store there in clackmus called fred meyers omgn i wish we had one here it was like a super duper wallmart if they had one but Better lol . It had great quialty name brand stuff and anything u need they seemed to carry for a great price.
After a great day we were out like a light when we got home .
day 5 sept5th
This day started all weird for me homesickness started to settle in and all the walking also ,the pregnancy didnt help iam sure either.
But with all that goin on i still had a great time we decided to take a drive to see crater lake 5 hr drive yea the drive wasnt as pleasant this go around cory got car sick and i started to about the time we got there . The lake on the other hand was beautiful and there was also chipmunks so cory got to see (wat he called) alvin theoadore and simon lol. it was fun !!
day6 last day 6th.
today we deff just stayed in town and went downtown , to the mall and just drove around a seen was it was about, alot of ppl and buildings was about it LOl
We seen alot of homeless one guy had a sign saying he was "too ugly to prositute" lol.
After drivng around we went back to the house and took cory to the park in tenas apartment place. It was beutiful if I lived there this would be a place id go to aLOt the view amazing, the park Clean, the grass like carpet and, the weather better then anything here in fl. We stayed here for quite a while letting cory get tired for out plane ride home that night.
After playing at the park we went to eat at a nice place i forgot the name but it real popular there and it was great i had fish and it was GREAT !!!
Then we went to there khols and it was nice the sales there are amazing i got my first and last pair of prego pants lol seeing ill be done here soon .
After this we came back to tenas and had to make a run to walmart haha Of course only us, for a flash drive to hold all our 800 pics ,YEa Crazy !!
And then it was time to say goodbyes and off to our plane for the long ride home .
Well I was feeling great when we left alil sad leaving the wonderful weather and great things to do but eager to get home and get back to work (cleaning, cooking ).
But after I got on the fisrt plane anxiety hit me and it Hit HARD...
First I was just nervous about the long ride home and just being on the airplane and of course that we had an issue with our seats ,we almost had to be all separated but thank god , God made things ok and a nice guy changed seats with me and we got to sit altogether. I needed chris beside me seeing I had the anxiety bad I cryed on and off and was nervous the whole 4 hrs ..yea awful Ive never felt like that . Maybe the pregnancy idk. Well after the nerves started to go away ,I thought when we were getting close to houston tx (our mid way stop) I started to get sick to my stomach and gladly we made in into tx and I just barly made it into the planes bathroom and well yea wont give u all the good details but it was gross LOL.
well we finally got off the horrible plane and I got to rest for about an hr and watch the txas sunrise , got sumthing to drink and little to eat and thankfuly i kept it down,not long after got on our 1 1/2 hr flight back to fl EXcited and ready to be home.
tx to fl flight went well still didnt feel great but it was 10x better then the last ,got off the plane happily and found our friend everrt and got to head home YAYYY .
Although the last plane ride was awful I miss Oregon it was a great place and i deff would love to go again one day (when kids are grown and NOT PREGNANT !!)and see it all again.And the weather omgn (omygoodness) I miss like CRAzy ,I loved not being stuck in the house all day like iam here ,so heres to hoping it cools off here in fl and we have another cold winter LOL. The trip was wonderful was very thankful for the opptunity to go . :)
